Safaris in Zambia

Safaris in Zambia must be one of the ultimate safari adventures. Zambia is the home of walking safaris, a country with a true great wilderness where there are very few tourists but many wild animals to be seen. This safari takes you to see the wide variety of landscapes and wildlife that can be found in Zambia from the open plains of Busanga, to the magnificent Zambezi River, and to the Luangwa valley rich in wildlife especially predators.

This safari only operates June - October

Day 1 & 2	Kafue National Park. Fly to Lunga River Lodge in Kafue. Time to acclimatize to being in the African bush with the opportunity of day and night drives in open 4 wheel-drive vehicles, bush walks and canoe trips on the river. Overnight on full board and game activities.
Day 3 & 4	Busanga Bush Camp on full board and game activities.	*Kafue National Park*. Drive to Busanga Bush Camp for two nights. Game drives out onto the plains will show the huge herds of red lechwe as well as other antelopes, zebra and buffalo. Prides of lion, solitary leopards and cheetahs are the prime predators you should see.
Day 5 & 6	Victoria Falls. Fly to Livingstone met and transferred to the River Club on the banks of the Zambezi River. Time to visit the Victoria Falls and enjoy the spectacular of one of the Natural Wonders of the Word.	River Club on full board
Day 7 - 9	*Zambezi Valley.* Fly to Chiawa in the heart of big game country with expansive views of the mighty Zambezi River. Activities include day and night game drives, river cruises on a motorised pontoon, canoeing on the Zambezi and bush walks. Overnight on full board and game activities.
Day 10 - 11	Overnight on full board and game activities	South Luangwa National Park. Fly to Kapani. Game viewing in the South Luangwa National Park in open vehicles or walk through the bush escorted by an armed ranger. Lions are plentiful in the Luangwa very often they roam in prides of up to thirty.
Day 12 - 14	*South Luangwa National Park*. Transfer by road to a seasonal bush camp in the National Park. Game drives and walks each day. Overnight on full board and game activities.
Day 15	Depart Mfuwe to Lusaka to connect with your onward flight.

Price per person US$9,885 / £6,590 excluding international flights but including meals as stated, game viewing activities, national park fees, local flights and transfers.

International flights flying from London return are about £430 per person plus taxes of £310 per person
